On my final day in London for fashion week I was lucky enough to visit the Vinti Andrews showroom in Old Street and to shoot a few outfits with Photographer Natalie Rose Wilde with my agency Vau Haus. The showroom was stunning with huge windows and so many quirky details such as the antique chair and the stuffed dogs which looked like they were made out of random scraps of fabric. The clothing rails ran round the outside of the room and the clothes themselves really showcased a variety of textures, prints and quite a mixture of styles. A lot of the stuff had a sports luxe feel to it with a darker edge. Embroidery details, organza panels and really quite unusual prints definitely gave the collection a more up-specced look from what you would find on the high street.
For the shoot we picked three looks which we really took a while to decide on as there was so many unique pieces. The first looks was a velvet textured black and white printed shirt. The second was cropped sweat with a cat print and the third was an embroidery weed leaf oversized tee with an airtex jacket and an absolutely huge bag pack I completely fell in love with. I was seriously considering investing in one to cart my fashion week wardrobe round in instead of the suitcase I pretty much instantly got sick of dragging round.
What was particularly nice was that one of the designers allowed me to pick a sample to keep which I was truly thrilled about. I picked the airtex jacket as it was my favorite thing and I shall be featuring it in another outfit post soon.
