This was my new years eve outfit. I had a fairly low key New Years as I'm currently on holiday in Canada with my family. The jet lag has really got to us and we've been in bed really early every night so considering we were drinking all afternoon it was quite an achievement we made it to midnight.
I was absolutely freezing when we shot these pictures it's been -3 most days in Whistler Village and as low as -10 at night.
I really wanted a sequin dress this year as there's so many around. This one from Missguided is quite loose fitting and hangs very straight. The sequins are matt and if you push them up the other way they are shinny. So I spent a lot of the night pushing the sequins up and down to make different patterns.
Hopefully I'll have another opportunity to wear the dress in January before the Winter months are over.
The use of the different textured sequins is so creative! I was trying to figure out what print the sequins were until I read the rest of your post. New years is definitely the best time to be decked out in sequins haha. Hope you're having an awesome new year!
