Back in the cyber goth days I used to wear these shoes practically every time I went out. Being a pretty tall girl anyway I pretty much towered over everybody (except for girls of the same height wearing similarly ridiculous shoes). I remember thinking they were the comfiest shoes to go clubbing in. When I put them on for the shoot I can only liken it to having bricks strapped to my feet. I can't say my attitude of fashion over comfort has really changed much over the years as it was only a few weeks ago I ended up going home early from wearing uncomfortable footwear!
