NYE

This is a bit of belated New Year's Eve post. My friends and I ended up having a somewhat low key affair. Just with a few close friends. I bought some Lancer Champagne on the advice of my mum and we opened it at midnight and wished for positive 2014. Having being in work all day I was pretty shattered and ended up falling asleep at the party at 1.30 am we then got a taxi back to my Stacey's and I fell asleep on the sofa and Jay carried me up to be bed. 

We took these pictures in Stacey's beautiful new home before we went out in her very Christmassy living room.

Stacey's dress is All Saints and Mine is One Teaspoon and we're both wearing Jeffery Campbell shoes. 

It's always a bit sad when all the excitement of Christmas is over and everybody goes back to work. My sister's went back to University this weekend and my grandparents are flying back to Germany next weekend and the house will be very quiet again. However I'm feeling positive about 2014, what it will bring, and the things that can be achieved. I have several exciting trips planned and I'm feeling excited about certain possibilities.
